Route Package Protection is an optional service provided by Route, a company specializing in package tracking and shipping protection. This service ensures your order is insured against potential transit issues.
How It Works:
- Opt-In at Checkout: You can choose to add Route Package Protection when you complete your purchase.
Coverage: This protection covers lost, damaged, or stolen packages, and even perishable items damaged due to shipping delays.
How to File a Claim:
Filing Process: If your order encounters any issues covered by Route, you can file a claim via Route's mobile app, email, or directly on their website, HERE.
Resolution: Route will assess your claim and, if approved, will either replace the order or issue a refund based on your preference.
If You Receive a Damaged Shipment:
- Contact Us Immediately: If your order arrives damaged and you opted for Route Package Protection, start by filing a claim with Route. Additionally, or if you did not opt for Route protection, please contact us directly.
Provide Details: Email us at [email protected] with your order number and include photos or videos of the damaged item(s). This evidence is crucial for us to understand the extent of the damage and determine the best course of action.
Replacement or Refund: Our customer service team will review the details provided. If a replacement is available, we will ship it at no additional cost. If a replacement is not possible, we will issue a full refund to your original payment method.
